What is Viagra Extra Dosage?
Viagra Extra Dosage is a prescription medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). Viagra Extra Dosage belongs to a class of drugs called phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors. A class of drugs is a group of medications that work in a similar way. These drugs are often used to treat similar conditions.
Viagra Extra Dosage is available in three strengths: 50 mg, 100 mg, and 200 mg. Viagra Extra Dosage is not available in a generic form. Generic drugs usually cost less than the brand-name version. In some cases, they may not be available in every strength or form as the brand-name drug.

Important Information
You should not use Viagra Extra Dosage if you are allergic to sildenafil, or:
- if you take other medicines to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension, such as riociguat (Adempas).
To make sure Viagra Extra Dosage is safe for you, tell your doctor if you have ever had:
- heart disease or heart rhythm problems;
- a recent heart attack (within the past 6 weeks);
- congestive heart failure;
- a stroke;
- low blood pressure, or high blood pressure that is not controlled;
- a bleeding disorder such as hemophilia;
- a blood cell disorder such as sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma, or leukemia;
- a stomach ulcer;
- retinitis pigmentosa (an inherited condition of the eye);
- a physical deformity of the penis (such as Peyronie's disease); or
- if you have been told you should not have sexual intercourse for health reasons.
Viagra Extra Dosage is not expected to harm an unborn baby. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant.
It is not known whether sildenafil passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby. Tell your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby.
Viagra Extra Dosage is not approved for use by anyone younger than 18 years old.
How should I take Viagra Extra Dosage?
Follow all directions on your prescription label and read all medication guides or instruction sheets. Your doctor may occasionally change your dose.
Viagra Extra Dosage is usually taken only when needed, about 30 minutes to 1 hour before sexual activity. You may take it up to 4 hours before sexual activity. Do not take Viagra Extra Dosage more than once per day. Viagra Extra Dosage can help you have an erection when sexual stimulation occurs. An erection will not occur just by taking a pill.
Do not take Viagra Extra Dosage if you are also using a nitrate drug for chest pain or heart problems, including nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate, isosorbide mononitrate, and some recreational drugs such as "poppers". Taking sildenafil with a nitrate medicine can cause a sudden and serious decrease in blood pressure.
If you are taking sildenafil to treat erectile dysfunction, follow your doctor's directions and the guidelines in this paragraph. Take Viagra Extra Dosage as needed before sexual activity. The best time to take sildenafil is about 1 hour before sexual activity, but you can take the medication any time from 4 hours to 30 minutes before sexual activity.
Sildenafil can help you have an erection when sexual stimulation occurs. An erection will not occur just by taking a pill.
Tell your doctor if your erection is painful or lasts longer than 4 hours. This may be a sign of serious problem and must be treated right away to prevent permanent damage.
If you are taking sildenafil for PAH, you should know that sildenafil may make your blood pressure drop suddenly to an unsafe level if it is taken with certain other medicines. You could get dizzy, faint, or have a heart attack or stroke.
Call your doctor or get emergency medical help if you have sudden vision loss.
Store at room temperature away from moisture and heat.
